What Can I Do with Jalli's App?

Why I need a software App, when I can do the same things using MS Excel ?

Important Note : It is waste of time to search for free estimation apps online.  They do not exist!

• Relying on copying and pasting from Excel sheets is slow and causes mistakes.

• Whether you are an engineer, consultant or contractor, investing in paid software is the best choice. It saves time and prevents errors. Check the websites of top estimation apps to compare prices and features. These are some apps and their website links known to me : ESTA (https://www.ojasvi.in/) , Booster (https://www.i-softwares.co/ ) , Cost Estimator ( https://costimator.in/ ) etc. 

• It not only saves your time your time by 80% , your work will be precise! The source DSR available may not be up to date, as many correction slips are released from time to time by the CPWD where as the App is updated periodically!

• App generates Excel files with  more  Excel functions than you know  or others use!

• You need to copy from a source file and paste in your estimate in a proper order,  whereas the App needs  Item code and quantity. Multiple items can be selected at time.

•  You need to search for the item in the source file yourself, while the App searches the item by just entering three or four words from the description of item!

• You need to enter Sl. Nos. manually, in the App Sl.Nos are automatically added or modified by the App.

• If you prepare Details of measurements in MS Excel and upload, the App will prepare the Estimate Schedule, Abstract, BoQ, Rate analysis, Requirement of materials without any data entry!

• If you prepare Rate Analysis manually (by using copy paste) you need to create links to schedule to get the estimate based on market rates. Whereas, If you prepare estimate based on DSR items and enter basic rates, app will prepare Estimate based on Market Rates .

• Standard Basic rates are maintained by the App so you need remember rate of each item given for previous works thereby uniformity will be maintained across your jurisdiction.  

• Surprise your juniors who claim themselves as Excel experts by generating more beautiful Excel files with formulas than normal Excel files using the App!
