What is difference between Jalli's Apps and Estimator App ? 

• Jalli's App is multifeatured windows desktop database application on which you generate a number of reports like Detailed Estimates, BoQ, Rate Analysis, Tender Justification, Comparative Statements, Bill schedules, Theoritical consumption of various materials etc. in MS Excel with formulas in-built.

• Estimator App is simple Excel application using which Esimate schedules can be prepared without copy paste. For DSR items just enter item code and the other details like Description, unit, rate, amount formula will be filled and cell pointer is placed in quantity cell. For MR items it can be used like a normal excel file. (Type, copy paste etc)

What is difference between preparing estimate using an Excel file and Jalli's App ?

• To prepare Estimate using Excel files over internet you need to use copy paste method.  You need to sort them out in the DSR item code order. If you insert a new item in between you need to change the Sl.nos manually. 

• If you use the App, just enter item code and quantity and the App will prepare neatly formatted ready to submit estimate with live formulas. 

• If you prepare Estimate in the App, it  gives you the rate analysis effortlessly just by updating present market rates.

• If enter contractor's quoted rates, it gives the Tender Justification statement.

Do I need to enter item codes and quntities again in the App even after preparation of Details of measurements in MS Excel ?
